Start training as soon as possible to see real, lasting results by June. Remember, you will ideally be making a lifetime commitment to health and wellness, so the sooner you start, the sooner you can make it a habit.
Holiday Weight Gain Will Be Less Likely
The holidays involve a non-stop supply of tempting desserts and high calorie meals. You would probably rather spend time with loved ones than run a few miles. If you’ve already established a routine, however, you’ll want to continue feeling and looking great.
You’ll have more energy to devote to family festivities, and you’ll probably have more willpower to avoid calorie-laden treats. You don’t have to lay off all holiday foods–just eat them in moderation and continue exercising to counteract the extra calories.

Indoor exercise can be a great way to start your routine in the winter. Sign up for Zumba or fitness boot camp classes, run on an indoor track, or try a trampoline workout or indoor rock climbing.
